The Orbitkey Multi-Tool is a low-profile microtool that’s great to have on hand at home or on the road. We’ve been testing it alongside the Orbitkey Key Organiser for more than a year and have been finding it incredibly useful in many situations.
Since it’s supersmall, this product blends in nicely with your keys and may be a bit less likely to be flagged at the airport than some of the larger multi-tools on the market. The Orbitkey Multi-Tool is listed as TSA compliant on the Orbitkey website, though your mileage may vary depending on the airport and where you’re at in the world.
This multi-tool is six different tools in one: a bottle opener, a multi-size hex wrench, a box cutter, a flat-head screwdriver, a pryer and a file. We’re happy to report that the box cutter tool has opened just about every package we’ve ever received here at Pack Hacker—and that’s a lot of packages.
The flat-head screwdriver piece, meanwhile, has been great for tightening up loose door handles at Airbnbs and out in the field for performing some on-the-go maintenance with our photography gear.
And the bottle opener feature? Let’s just say we’ve given it a thorough testing.
- Integrates nicely with the rest of the Orbitkey suite.
- Bottle opener and box cutter function work quite well and it’s nice to have this near keys where it’s handy.
Great! This multi-tool is already coming in handy around the office for packages and on-the-go camera repairs.
Going strong. No major complaints, though the flat-head screwdriver could be a bit larger.
Still opening boxes and bottles like a champ. Haven’t used the hex or file as much.
All good. The hex wrench is a bit hard to use, though.
Noticing some slight wear and tear around the metal loop attachment point but it’s not affecting usability.
Still going strong and being used daily.
We never realized how useful this was until we didn’t have it while photographing and filming it for this review!
