YETI Rambler Bottle MagDock Cap

• The cap can be attached to the side via the magnet docking station, it works really well and we love the intuitive thinking here

Been testing this cap on the YETI Rambler 26oz Bottle—so far, so good. The magnet works well and is fun to fidget with.

Been missing a top handle. Without one, carrying the bottle just a little less convenient. We’ve also dropped the magnetic cap a couple of times, but it’s latched on to the metal legs of tables or chairs, which makes it easy to find.

We’ve had some issues getting the lid off. It can be hard to grip and almost feels like it gets suctioned to the bottle sometimes. You can fill the bottle from most faucets through the smaller mouth opening—so you just remove the cap, not the entire lid—but it can be less ideal than filling through the wide mouth.

The versatility of both a wide mouth and a smaller opening is nice. It’s great to get a drink of water without worrying about getting splashed. We’ve gotten pretty good at working the magnetic cap one-handed (yeah, it feels as cool as it sounds). As far as durability is concerned, the magnet is strong and the cap is holding up great. Plus, it’s easy to clean.
