We’re really digging how lightweight and compressible these shoes are. Traveling with boots in a 40L pack just got a lot easier!
Adapting to these barefoot-style shoes was really simple. The insert offers a lot of padding and these were comfortable for long days walking around and exploring NYC.
Due to the minimal style, barefoot shoes can tend to be best suited for warmer climates. However, these shoes do a really good job of keeping our feet toasty and warm. The leather is thick and the lining is really cozy. Although, this does mean that we found these too hot to wear in the warmer weather.
The leather on these shoes didn’t take any wearing in. From the first time we wore these until now, they’re still super soft and comfortable.
In terms of durability, the sole is still holding up really well. However, due to the leather being so soft some creases are beginning to show.
